About us

SemVox is a software company specializing in the development of intelligent human-computer interfaces. SemVox technology enables the controlling of applications, devices and functions without having to resort to traditional operating concepts such as keyboards or remote controls.

Using our technology the user is free to choose between a number of modalities such as speech, gestures, keyboard or mouse or a combination thereof. This saves time and enables the accessing of even the most complex functions.

SemVox, founded in 2008, is in 2010 one of the 365 landmarks in the innovation campaign Land of Ideas and is a spin-off of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH).

As such, SemVox is able to combine the advances in technology of modern research systems with the efficiency and productivity of commercial systems. We use this in our development of innovative, multimodal applications in the areas home entertainment and home control, mobile computing, automotive and hospitality.
